Well I am off at school at Snow, and I am loving every minute of it! There have been many things happening while I have been here, so I will catch you all up on what has happened while being here.
1. My roommate Alexis decided that I should come play softball with her one night. I really didn't want to go and told her no, but she didn't really like that answer. ha Then the boys called, that we were going to be playing with, and she pretty much just told them that there would be three of us coming. That would her, Ginny, and Me! Let just say I wasn't really all that excited and pretty nervous to be honest. We get in the car and start driving to Mt. Pleasant, and I text my friend Mo and told her I was playing. She nicely said good luck, and I said thanks I am sure I will need it! Ha Little did I know that I really did need it. Lex and I started warming up and we probably had just thrown a few balls to each other and then Ginny joined in with us. We were just doing fine, and we were just getting ready to be done when all of the sudden I looked up to catch the ball and it was GONE!! I had no idea where the ball had gone, because the light was shinning right in my eyes! The next thing I know is that a big yellow ball hits me smack right between the eyes! Yeah lets just say I kept my eye on the ball just a little too long. Well that is what my wise brother Dusty told me! :) Well it didn't take very long for my nose to start swelling up and the pain to start really hurting. I was really worried that I had broke my nose!! I just thought oh man I am so STUPID!! Well to end this long story I ended up with two pretty sweet black eyes and it looked like I got the crap beaten out of me. I also learned a very good lesson that when you can't see the ball just move out of the way! ha
2. Ephraim isn't the funniest place to be on weekends, so we decided that we need to make things fun. We asked around as to where a fun place to go hike is and they told us to go up to Maple Canyon. Me, Lex, Mo, and Bailee decied to go and try it out! It was so fun!! I am super glad we went on this little adventure. It was more than just a little trail that you walked on. We had to pretty much rock climb in some parts, but that is what made it fun! :) We also took a lunch that we ate when we reached the end of the hike. I felt like we were little kids again, but it was really fun. We really want to try and go on more hikes while we are here. Our goal is to hike to all the letters in the surrounding areas. Such as the M in Manti and Moroni and the FG in Fountain Green. It would be really fun!!
3. My other wonderful roommate Tori wanted us all to go to her cabin and ride her swing. I was pretty excited for this! Jerika thought we were going to ride a zipline, and Lex thought that we were going to ride just like a little tire swing or something. It was rather funny! We got there and it wasn't no little swing or a zipline. It looked like so much fun! :) I have never seen our friend Gundy get so scared in my life. It really wasn't that high or scary, but it was super fun!
4. I got some sweet t-shirts at walmart for only $2.50...and in the little boys section!! It was the best day ever! :) I know that this isn't too excited for all of you but I was so so excited about this! ha
5. The best thing for last! On September 4, 2010 my brother and sister-in-law got sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity! :) It was a beautiful day and everything just went perfect! Oh man I LOVE the temple..I can't wait to go inside someday!
