hmmm...

Well I don't really know where to begin...
When leaving Snow College I was so excited for the Summer! I knew it was going to be so fun and it was going to be a good adventure, but now I am thinking that it is going to be nothing but an UP and DOWN rollercoaster of emotions.

First thing- I was going to go spend the summer in Alaska with my brother and sister-in-law to work all summer and get some good money. How fun right? Live in an amazing place, make some good money, and have a great time...Well as you can tell I am NOT currently in Alaska working I am just in my boring room wishing I was there!

Second thing- Just recently my sister and I decided to possibly run in a half marathon, so we have been starting to train. (Little background the cement plant here in Morgan is sponsoring the whole event so ALL employees adn there spouses get in for FREE!!) Anyway...my brother-in-law works there so she gets in for free, and I had applied for the summer help job up there and it was sounding like there was a good possiblity that I would be working there. So that would be a BONUS!! We both could run this half marathon together and for free. Could it honestly get any better?

Third thing- Today I was getting ready to go Camping, which is one of my favorite summer things to do, and I was thinking about work and hoping I would hear from the Cement plant soon. I decided that I should text my bishop who works up there and see if there is any chance he would know when I would be hearing from them...Only a matter of minutes later I get a text back saying 'It isn't looking very good. There are 4 employee's children that applied and they get first priority.' So there goes my summer job, and there goes running the half marathon for free...or maybe at all, because you have to have money to do something like that and if you don't have ANY income it is hard to pay for something like that.

Hmmmm....on the plus side there are only 51 more days
(for those of you that know what I am counting down to)

This is all that is going on in
MY LITTLE LIFE
for now...

Missing those days...

It is pretty sad when you haven't even been gone from one of the smallest towns in Utah for a WEEEK and you are already MISSING it! This week as been pretty boring...it could be the fact that it has just been me and my sister and her girls. I mean the twins are a lot of FUN but there is only so much FUN a two year old can provide for you. Anyway...
This week I learned that I really miss our (meaning me and my roommates) Walmart trips, late night eating, staying up till wee hours in the morning, talking about everything, playing games, hanging out with friends, and etc. When coming home from school your life kind of goes from a HIGH to a LOW...kind of like osmosis! It is really a BIG change and I don't really know how to deal with this. Ha Well this blog is kind of turning into a SOB story, so I will end it with the lyrics to a song...this is how I feel about my 2 years at Snow College.

I always knew this day would come
We'd be standing one by one
With our future in our hands
So many dreams so many plans

Always knew after all these years
There'd be laughter there'd be tears
But never thought that I'd walk away
With so much joy but so much pain
And it's so hard to say goodbye

But yesterdays gone we gotta keep moving on
I'm so thankful for the moments so glad I got to know ya
The times that we had I'll keep like a photograph
And hold you in my heart forever
I'll always remember you

Another chapter in the book cant go back but you can look
And there we are on every page
Memories I'll always save
Up ahead on the open doors
Who knows what were heading towards?
I wish you love I wish you luck
For you the world just opens up
But it's so hard to say goodbye

Yesterdays gone we gotta keep moving on
I'm so thankful for the moments so glad I got to know ya
The times that we had I'll keep like a photograph
And hold you in my heart forever
I'll always remember you

Everyday that we had all the good all the bad
I'll keep them here inside
All the times we shared every place everywhere
You touched my life
Yeah one day we'll look back we'll smile and we'll laugh
But right now we just cry
Cause it's so hard to say goodbye

Yesterdays gone we gotta keep moving on
I'm so thankful for the moments so glad I got to know ya
The times that we had I'll keep like a photograph
And hold you in my heart forever
I'll always remember you

(Yes I SURE do miss this place)

A trip down memory lane..

A little less than two years ago I was getting ready to graduate from Morgan High School. I had a plan and I was sticking to it. This plan was to attend Weber State University and go into their Elementary Education program. I was set on this and NO one was going to change my mind. I didn't think of any other options because WHY? At Weber I get free rent and I had a small scholarship there...I mean come on who wouldn't go there!?!? (if you go to Weber don't be offend) These plans changed in a matter of a few weeks. My mom had told me many times I should apply to go to Snow college, but I DID NOT want to live in the middle of NOWHERE! So of coarse like most children do...I didn't listen to her. Until one day I was talking to my friend Bailee, and she told me she was going to Snow. Well to make this LONG story SHORT I decided that Snow College was the place for me to go. I haven't looked back on the decision I have made once.

Today was my last and FINAL day at Snow College. It was a very bitter sweet day. I wasn't sad to be leaving the tests, the stress, the long hours of studying, the smell of turkey, and the LONG drive home. I was SAD to be leaving all the great memories, the late nights, the walmart runs, snow creams but most of all the friends and roommates. When going to Snow I was terrified. I was going to live with people I have never met or even seen in my life. This was a challenge for me and I knew that I was going to have to go out of my box to get to know them. I am glad to say that my roommates are some of the BEST people I have ever met. They have made me a better person, a stronger person, and overall just a better me. There is NO way I will ever be able to repay these young ladies for what they have done for me. I don't think they will ever know how much of an impact on my life they have had. They truly are a BLESSING from heaven.

Jerika is one of the most easy going girls I have ever met, and this was a good thing. She made our apartment a fun place to be and was always there with willing arms to help. She made people feel like they were ALWAYS welcome at our apartment. She someone I will NEVER forget! Jer was the one to always help us remember that LIFE is SO funny. Jer thanks for all the laughs...I am thankful that you cry when you laugh too. Thanks for being there for me whenever I needed someone! You are the BEST little sister anyone could ask for!

Alexis, I don't even know where to begin with this girl. When I first met her I was a little bit afraid of her. She was a little intimidating, but after I got to really know her there is no way anyone could be afraid of her. She really is one of the most kind hearted individuals I know. She wouldn't kill a fly without feeling guilt. :) Lex taught me how to be a better person in life and also in the gospel. I don't remember a day that she wasn't on her knees praying or reading her scriptures. When I am older I WISH I can be at least half the person she is and I will be content with life. She is one of the greatest people I know not only because of her heart but also because of her out look on life. Lex is always happy and is someone you can ALWAYS count on to give you a good laugh. Lexi thanks for being you and being the MOTHER of our apartment. You really have taught me so many things in and about life. You are going to make a great mother someday! You are the BEST little sister anyone could ask for!

Paige, is the most friendly person I have ever met. She was always saying hi to everyone and making sure they were doing ok. She was still a GREAT friend when she lived all the way in Hawaii. There is NO one like Paige Robinson! She is a great individual that will go far in life. Paige thanks for all the pillow talks we had and all the lessons I have learned from you! You are the BEST room-roommate I think I will ever have!

Shacari, hmmm where do I start with this young lady! She came into our apartment a little too LATE I believe. ah...I LOVE this girl. I think it was definately meant for her to come and joy us this past semester. She is a great person that holds high standards...you can tell just by looking at her that she has the light of christ glowing through her. Shac thanks for being you and standing up for what you believe. Thanks for letting Paige and I tease you all the time. Thanks for preparing me to become a better missionary. There is NO doubt in my mind that YOU are and have made a difference. You are the BEST little sister anyone could ask for!

I did have more roommates and don't get me wrong they MADE a difference also, but these four ladies have had the greatest impact on me while at Snow College. I will never forget them and the difference they have made in my life! Thanks for everything you have ever done for me girls!! I MISS YOU ALREADY! Much love!

UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN...

Endure.....

To the END

I just need to survive the next two week and I will have my associates degree!! Let just pray I pass Chemistry! But anyway...
Snow college is coming to an end for me. I have bitter sweet feelings about leaving. I have had many great memories here. I have learned a great deal about myself while here. There is just a short list of things I will never forget about being here at snow:

1- Meeting some people that have and will change my life forever.
2- Bowling from Bob
3- Snow Creams
4- Learning how NOT to catch a softball.
5- Winning Intramural Bowling...Yeah we are the Champions
6- Many dances, activities and parties at the school
7- The flashlight game
8- Stealing my roommate's bed and telling her there were bed bugs on it
9- Staying up till late hours of the night
10- Making trips to Richfield
11- Nephi runs
12- Getting pulled over for the first time
13- Intramural Staff
14- My roommates
15- Laughing in the mirror
16- Denny's Run (although we only did it once)
17- Late night cravings for Pizza, Mac and Cheese, Cereal, Etc.
18- Having my first calling in a singles ward
19- Mission Prep
20- The decision to serve the Lord

I feel like I could go on and on about the experience I have had while attending this place. It has been a great experience for me and I am going to miss being here. Snow College you have been good to me my friend, but so long fare well....

Well there is always a first time....

For everything!!

So lately in my life I have been experiencing lots of  firsts in my life... I thought I would just share some of them with you.

We (Paige, Bailee, Kaylee, and I) were drving home and we were about to Provo when I see this cop, so I slowed down to the actually speed limt (which i was only going 5 over). Because I didn't want to get pulled over. I have never been pulled over so i was trying my best to follow all the rules. Well all of a sudden I was thinking about getting over to the other lane, but when I looked in the side mirror the cop was right there...
so I couldn't get over! Well then I decided he was kind of close to me, so that got me a little nervous. Before I knew it his lights were turned on and I thought to myself "Oh crap!!"
So i slowly make my way over to the side of the road, but we were in a construction zone so it was a little while before I could pull over. Well I finally get off to the side and he come up to the window and asks for all my information, so I gave him all the information and then he said well let me take a look at the front really fast...when he said that I knew exactly why he had pulled me over....
Side note: When I got my car whoever put my license plates on they put them on backwards. So the ones with the stickers on it was in the front and not the back.
Alright well the cop was REALLY nice and only gave me a warning. He actually was joking around with us most of the time...and Paige thought he was actually kind of cute! ha
So being pulled over for the first time wasn't that bad of an experience...

So the next first I experienced was failing my first test. I was taking my chemistry test and I thought I was doing ok, but I realized that everything I studied wasn't really even on the test! I LOVE teachers that do that...Ah NOT!!!! So anyway after taking the test I was walking out of the testing center with Shacari and Paige, and we all decided that we did terrible and we probably all FAILED! Well sure enough...we all did! The funny part of this all is we hardly studied for the first test and we did ALOT better than we did on this last test. Oh man got to LOVE chemistry!!

Last but not least....I was heading home for the break and I was just coming out of Nephi canyon. When I see these stupid blue and red light coming after me AGAIN. This time I knew I was speeding a little bit but nothing too bad...But according to the stupid cop I was going 15 over!! YEAH FREAKING RIGHT!!! I was really mad and I knew that I was in big trouble. Well he was somewhat nice and lowered it to just 9 over, but still I don't even know if I was speeding that fast. The other thing that ticked me off was that he pulled me over right after the speed changes from 55 to 45...
I really was in such a bad mood and I really was about ready to cry and yell..
It was the weirdest feeling ever!!
So you know that I have been pulled over before but the first thing here is a STUPID TICKET!!!
I am still a little mad if you can't tell..

Well I hope all is well with all of you!! Have a great and fantastic day/week!

The End Is Near...

Day 26: A picture of something that means alot to you
This is a rather tough one...I don't really know what means the absolute MOST to me. There are many things that I have already said for other things such as my family, the gospel, and my parents. I would like to say one of those for my answer, but I want all of my answers to be different, so that being said I think I will have to say that my friends are some people that mean a lot to me. I honestly don't know what I would do without them.

Day 27: A picture of something you are afraid of
I am really afraid of the dark, mostly when I am alone though. I am fine when I am with people I just hate it being alone in the dark.

Day 28: A picture of you last year and a picture of you now, how have you changed

Day 29: A picture that always makes you smile
There are many pictures that make me happy, but the most recent is one of my cute neice Aadrie. I am not trying to make favorites. Her picture is just so cute and it melts my heart!!

Have a great day!!
